Rules Of The Game Called Pop

Pop consists of two teams of three players, and two referees.
The object of Pop is to pop the opposing team’s master balloon.
The order of tasks of each team is to
1. Pop an opponents balloon
2. Write “POP” on the opponents white board
3. Pop the opponent’s master balloon.

1. Each player has a balloon tied around each ankle, with the tail facing behind them.
2. Before the opposing team’s master balloon can be popped, one player must write pop on the opposing team’s message board.
3. To be eligible to write pop on the message board and pop the other team’s balloon, a player must pop one of the balloons attached to an opposing player’s ankle.
4. The game is won after a team has beaten their opponents twice out of a possible 3 rounds.
5. Once a player’s balloon has been popped they must throw their hands up, and move back to their side of the field.
6. Once both of a player’s balloons have been popped they are removed from the field. If a team loses all their players, the game is over, and the team with remaining players wins.
7. Between rounds each player does NOT receive any extra ankle balloons.
8. Players arms must remain clasped behind their backs as to avoid any grabbing or pushing.
9. Two referees will monitor the game to make sure players keep their arms behind their back, (except in the instance of writing pop), make sure that players have popped an opponents ballon before writing pop and before popping the opposing team’s master
balloon. If a player pops their own team’s master balloon they automatically lose,
10. If a team pops the opposing team’s balloon before writing pop or popping another player’s balloon their team automatically loses.
11. The word pop must fill the entire message board and legibly say pop. Determining this is up to the discretion of the referees.
